Parent Stuff

New class policy for all classes.  The last Quarter was great and many students did well.  I am making some slight changes to the class policies in order to create a more functional and efficient environment.

  • All classes will now have a weekly effective grade (5 marks per class) based on being ready for class, participation and behavior.
  • Math class will have MiniQuizzes on most days.  These are 5 question quizzes from the previous homework.
  • Class schedules will be updated for 2 weeks on the board to give a greater advantage to planning.

Policies that I am keeping because I feel they are important for a progressing class.

  • All late assignments must be turned in one CLASS day for a late mark of 80%.  Anything after 1 day is counted as a zero
  • If you are sick it is your responsibilty to come find what you missed.  You have to come the day you return to school or all missed work will be counted as a zero.
  • 9-12 students are still following 5 missed classes a semester equals 10% off of your overall mark (school policy)

Project history

The basics ofthis site are to provide and more attractive and interactive website for students/parents to use.  The addition of an RSS feed and youtube videos allow me to show a great deal more to everyone and much faster.  I hope you enjoy the upgrade.

Community

I am trying to develop a more interesting website so everyone actually wants to come and see what is new.  By having embedded youtube videos and a cleaner, more attactive site, I hope everyone comes back to check the site more than just a couple times.
